Its my 2nd day at work. I got to the radio sation at 8:30 am, and I was assigned to work in the radio booth.

The DJ on board was "Lover Boy" DJ Rob. He's a cool guy. He then explained to me how their work is done. He explained to me how the console works, what software they use in playing and lining up the music. I got to go on air for the time check, traffic update and even greeting the callers.
The ambiance in the workplace is surprisingly very light. The DJs would usually joke around even if they are on air. They even allow other DJs to come in and play around in the booth. After a while I got to get into the business, well sort of business part of radio life. I computed the air time for all commercials according to the contract time and actual time. Sometimes they are either overtime or undertime with the airings of the commercials. The DJs usually have around 10 to 15 seconds for their entire spiel not counting the greetings and updates.
I went home at 6:00 pm via MRT3. I love working at in iFM. Hoping for another productive day tomorrow..^^
